24 hours later and watching 24

well, it’s been about 24 hours since my last post and most of my rantings about being a cliche’ Jonas Brothers fan proved to be mostly untrue- I got “it”, the stomach virus going around. I think that I got it from Summit. All I know is I was hugging the toilet in every which way and feeling like I was going to die in the wee hours of the morning. Ugh. my stomach still feels like Oscar de la Hoya used me as a punching bag, but luckily I didn’t have any fever. I have been in bed most of the day and feel like I may be getting over it. I ate for the first time in 24 hours as well, the idea of food just made me want to puke until recently when chicken nuggets sounded delish. Luckily I had my sam’s club bag of tyson nuggets! Score! except now my stomach doth protesteth much… When I wasn’t sleeping, we were having a 24 marathon. I am so stressed out. I am going to read some Jane Austin and go to bed.

So Saturday morning didn’t get off any better, I was going to finish a story I began in my previous post. Summit work up several hours early and was crying and we ignored him for awhile, hoping beyond all hope that he’d go bed. Ben was getting up early because he was going off-roading in Oklahoma so he offered to change his diaper then put him back down. Weeeeelll. Summit had an explosion like he had when he was a baby, up the neck, down to the footies of his sleeper. YUCK! Ben got into the shower with him because he got it all over him just carrying him into the room. We had to strip his bed and clean his mattress off. I was useless like I usually am in these situations, only good for gagging and bringing Ben things. After he was showered and re-dressed, he had a snack and then chose to go back to be much to my delight. We got up again around 11 am. Thank you Jesus for a baby that likes to sleep!
