I was thinking back about the blog post I wrote a few weeks ago about being in a funk, and I just wanted to share some things with you…
Another thing I was feeling sorry for myself about was baseball games…The kids and I love to go to watch The Naturals play at Arvest Ballpark, and we have not been able to do that much this year.
Just last week a friend called me up and offered us (free of charge) over 30 tickets for the rest of the season! I was so blessed! When I got there to pick up the tickets, she also had free parking passes, free food coupons and a lot of encouraging things to say to me. Not only that, but she filled my arms with sandwich meat, cheese and a hug. I left there in tears, realizing that God even cares about the little things in my life.
The pool filter went out yesterday, but I am still within the warranty period, so they are sending me the parts I need to fix it! Praise The Lord!
The kids have been doing school and chores, sometimes only needing a little prodding from me, sometimes a little more prodding than I would like…but we are enjoying themed days and routine.
I’ve been doing some self reflection, setting some goals (long term and short term), and added accountability to help myself be successful in these things!
