Leggings, The First Haircut and a word from the Sponsor! (w/ Pics!)

As many of you may know, I am a sooo Euro. You know, living in Ukraine really made me cool. (The former USSR is completely underrated.) The whole not showering, eating bourche, not shaving ones’ armpits, (wait-I do that) drinking pop without ice…. and leggings. Yes, leggings! The half pant/ half sock combo which was popular in our youth, although I was never cool enough to wear them myself. The other day I was at one of those expensive children’s boutique where a plain white onesie with “Cutsie-Pants” or something written on it goes for $45, and I saw them: The Leggings. In Ukraine children wore them until they were like 2 or 3 years old, and they were never as cute as these I saw in the boutique. I wanted to buy Summit a pair so bad, but alas, as I should have known, they were too pricey. This is why I try to never to go into these stores. Another great saying of mine goes like “I have not because I see not”. I don’t like to “window” shop, I hate it b/c it just makes me want something that I don’t need, or worse, buy something I can’t afford. So then comes along the best invention of our time: E-BAY. Yes, you are thinking correctly, I found some on e-bay and they arrived the other day! Just scroll down friends for the wave of the future and JUDGE NOT, I think they are rockin’. (Sarah, tell them how cute they were!)

First Haircut. I had images of how adorable this would be, how Summit would coo-ing adorably for the camera, sitting perfectly straight up in the chair like a big boy, etc. I had my first shard of doubt Tuesday night when Liz told me at dinner that Hendrix screamed his way through his first haircut and it was stressful. Hmmm. That is exactly what happened with Summit. My mother-in-law held him in his chair, Sarea took pics, Harmony cut his hair, I took a video (yes, really) my Mom constantly affirmed him, and Madison, Garret and Ethan crowded in. Yes, here in Arkansas, the First Haircut is a family event.

Okay, here is my latest sponsor, my other sister in law, Sarea. (you can check out her blog at www.xanga.com/brosarl) She sells some amazing candles with PartyLite. They have ever scent you could possibly imagine and they burn great! They also have fundraisers available and you make 40% (hmm, I should think about doing that for Summits surgery, would you buy?? LOL) She has been doing it for a little over a year and just promoted to Team Leader this month. If you are interested in having a party (the hostess program is amazing) or even making a little extra income you can contact her:

Plus, she paid/traded me out for $20 worth of ads, (with $2 going towards a surprise ad she is doing with her sister! Stay tuned for details) so it would be great if I could get her at least one or two contacts! PLUS, you get $50 in free product just for hosting a show!!
