Medical Update (actually good news!) :)

the lady from Summit’s eye doctor was misinformed about him NEVER OPERATING at another location. She was wrong about him being inflexible. She was wrong to tell me to “find another doctor because there was nothing they could do about it”.

Wrong can be so Right. Well, for me in this case anyways. His surgery is scheduled for a week from TODAY, next Tuesday. Cross your fingers, arms, toes, legs… or please, rather, just pray that his works out. We were told that our insurance will pay everything after our deductible is met, which we’re close to because of therapy sessions. (all the heart stuff was very, very unfortunately out of network)

Want to know the cool thing? I had given up, I was hopeless… then as I was reading a book where they brought a girl back to life through prayer, I suddenly realized that the God I believed could raise the dead, couldn’t, in my mind, fix our insurance problems. I was shocked. I prayed to God, confessing my doubt. Then I called to get my medical records to go to another doctor… and the doctor himself got on the phone and told me he could go to another location. One covered by my insurance… wow. wow. wow. It’s taken care of. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths straight.” Prov. 3: 5-6

will I ever truly get the beautiful simplicity in trusting, simply trusting, in God?

Praise the Lord! I am so happy for you all! Are you glad that incompitant(sp) people work in Dr offices and it takes the Dr to get it right! Now lets get praying for that operation.

Woohoo! That is awesome! I have a hard time with trusting, fully trusting too. And man, wouldn’t life be so much easier if we just would trust and give it all up to Him!

Its definately a process Heidi. I feel like I’m learning it weekly. Mom told me about summie’s surgury. God is so great, it affirms my faith as well. And so glad our summie will be well taken care of. prayers matter :)
