"The Shack" by William P. Young

My mom gave me a book a couple of months ago to read. “It’s fiction,” she said, and I opened it one day for some light reading. I was so grateful to her for giving me a fiction book and not one of her usual deep thinking books. Hah!! The Shack is in my top 3 of books that have changed my life now, a simple fiction it is not! I encourage you to read it. I’d love to talk to you about it too!

My friend Sol Parker wrote an amazing review on it, please go read it! He’s on the list of other blogs I read as “Sol”. What is even more amazing is that the author of the book himself left a comment on his blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree with everything that Sol said and he really got into the deeper meaning of the book. I wish that I had felt the depth of the book better! So in the immortal words of Lavar Burton from Reading Rainbow, “but you don’t have to take my word for it”. Go check out his blog for yourself!
