I loved the brat pack movie Pretty in Pink. I loved how she could make anything cute and trendy with a couple snips of her scissors… PROM DRESS ANYONE?! So in the spirit of Pretty in Pink as well as the spirit of Thanksgiving which so suddenly is here, I thus embark upon my new series. One of my weaknesses is wanting nice things. I struggle and compare myself to others constantly yet God in his gracious nature surrounds me with people and family who are very generous and I’m kept in style by them. Several, no almost every day of the week, I’m reminded of someone’s kindness by the outfit that I am wearing. It is humbling and uplifting and I felt a series based on the giving nature of God and some people would be very “in the spirit” of things.
