In the season of giving and serving, it’s so important to look for ways to show Christ’s love to others. The Give Away Day is a great thing for community groups and bible studies to be involved in! So often we preach about giving to the least of these and not do anything, but here is an opportunity to serve and bless them! I did this 2 years ago when I was pregnant and had a great time. Not only are you helping people give presents to their children that wouldn’t otherwise get any, but you’re also serving a great ministry who work with a lot of these people full time. Shawn and Anita are amazing people that have given their lives over to serving God in Fayetteville’s poorer districts and mentoring these kids. If you can only help some of the time and have to leave early, that is ok too but I encourage you to stay the whole time. Seriously, DO IT!
