Hilights so far…

-Telling one of the ladies that I had snooped around the castle and so I didn’t need to go on the tour. “We even snuck into the Honeymoon Suite!” I said excitedely.
“You were in our room?” she asked, suprised/ increduously.

-Waking up every 2-3 hours the first night in a hotel b/c Summit was unhappy with his sleeping arrangements. Bringing sad child into bed with Mommy resulted in even higher pitched screams. Sorry to the people next door.

-Having the camp photographer unknowingly take a very unflattering picture up my skirt while at the Wolf Information Show, put it on a disk and distribute it to all the campers. Sweet Jesus. I want to hide my face in humiliation.

-Going to sleep at 9:30 more than 1 night in a row. Body is in shock.

-Having a random hippie worker man in a health food store pull Ben aside conspiciously and tell him “I have something for you,” and pull out pills. “Happy Camper” they were called, and insisted that he take them. Hmmmmm.

-Signing up people for the talent show without them knowing. Heh Heh Heh

-Being put in a discussion/prayer group where the couple nearest in age to us had to be in their early 60’s. Probably most of the other couples in our group were in their 70’s.
(It was actually really good, I helped someone with their cell phone, told them what blogs were, why we text, and I learned a whole truck-load about God.)

-Learning about Ben’s brain and understanding that he can actually think about nothing. This is a monumental break through for me.

-Ben and Brian having farting contests. Yes.

-Ben and I renewing out vows inspite of the farting contests. Ahhh, amore!

-Summit being, serioulsy, the most perfect baby ever. He in in his element. New sights, new people, new food everyday and everywhere he looks he gets an adoring smile and people try to get him to want to go to them.
The only time he has cried on the trip has been tonight when he got scared when a little boy yelled loudly in his face. (after missing his nap) I take it back, the only other times he has cried were when we were on our way here and he cried until we stopped the car and let him use the bathroom… on … a … toilet. And he is doing the same thing here too. He is peeing now in the toilet. I change his diaper maybe 3 times a day. I have done nothing, he has trained me well.

-Oh, and he started to crawl. :)

Heidi, you crack me up! I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for the honeymoon suite discussion.
