Heidi’s product testing: Cell Phones

I have to begrudgingly post about my cell phone. If you want a sturdy phone that can stand rigorous handling by a 1 1/2 year old on a daily basis, be in submerged water for a short time, fall 2 stories onto blacktop, dropped constantly on hard tile which causes it to come apart into 3-4 pieces but yet, it still works, I have the phone for you. It actually can be a ministry tool to meet people in Wal-Mart when they scurry to find the battery that has flown 20 ft. away from the flustered looking owner. Even with a host of things wrong with it, it still keeps on working. It’s also very endearing and quite independent thinking and mine has been known to call people repeatedly at 2 am without reason and not stop until the battery was popped out when the person receiving the phone calls’ husband called my husband to tell me to stop calling over and over. (and yes, the flip phone was CLOSED at the time. Still can’t figure that one out.) So, it’s also a conversation piece. It has been known to play songs on it’s speakers without being asked to, so it is very musical as well. With all of these charming attributes, you see, I couldn’t help but write a review on it. Enjoy yours!

PS side note on the phone falling 2 stories. It was on an outside set of stairs and I was feeling uncharacteristically energetic so I ran up the stairs and my phone chose to fall out of my pocket on the top stair, bounce once the opposite direction it landed, and plunge 2 stories. It wasn’t totally destroyed partially because it landed on someone which broke the fall a little bit. He was very nice about it. Really, does this kind of crap happen to other people? One of my friends suggested that I know how to handle these situations so well so God keeps letting them happen to me. Great.
