Days 20 & 21 #30daysofThanksgiving

Day 20: I’m thankful to live here in Northwest Arkansas.

Gourmet Food.  That seems silly but I get the stinking awesomesauce privilege to be a James of the Mill food ambassador in 2014. More to come about this but let’s just say I squealed like a little girl when I got an email asking me to be involved. Oh, and before you get all hating on me- I have a standing 20% on my party anytime- so next Girl’s Night? Holla. 😉

Ben and I enjoyed a date night and appetizers.

Day 21: I’m thankful for people around the world who care to make a difference.

After sitting through a day long conference put on by Champions for Kids in Rogers, AR– I’m humbled. The genuine passion and energy in that large ball room was electric and I was simply in awe. I wish I could have gone to every session and heard each of the nationally known speakers, but the sessions I went to left me with a to-do list and excitement to do what I can where I’m at to make a difference. I was able to meet a few bloggers who are using their influence for good and because of them and a very obvious need- Mel (Mamabuzz), another local blogger, & I have decided to create a local service that connects non-profits who need social advice. More on that to follow too…

Thanks to all these women for being inspirational and making a difference…

Inspired.
