So, as some of you may have read, Ben’s 30th birthday was Friday. Instead of a huge bash with all our family and friends, Ben, Summit and I ate dinner together. I had planned on this birthday for years, people, and was going to have the hugest event EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD…. but we didn’t feel like celebrating. Mainly having to do with all the things going on in Summit’s world that have deeply affected ours. We got the blood work back Thursday like I said and everything seems so blah. I felt like the worst wife ever, not feeling like celebrating anything so I made this video of Ben eating his cake by himself…. wow that sounded so depressing!!! I’m not trying to be, there are good days and bad days and today I’m having a bad day.
His birthday dinner was horrible too, Market Place Express has lost my business for good. We chose to go there instead of the original Market Place and BIG MISTAKE. You have to pay for your bread ($1.99) and DON’T GET REFILLS. You don’t get a free birthday dessert and they give up easily (and don’t tell you?) when they can’t find your rewards card. And the portions are TINY lunch sizes for expensive dinner prices and it didn’t taste very good. blah. Thumbs down.
The movie we wanted to see for his birthday was sold out but we already had Summit staying overnight with my parents so we had to do something… so up we stayed until 3 am watching 24…. We are simple folks. Here’s the “amazing” video… enjoy!
