I was in a wedding this weekend and forgot how exhausting they can be! Don’t get me wrong, it was fun- but EXHAUSTING as well. That is all I’ve done this week, Summit stayed with my mother-in-law because I couldn’t have taken adequate care of him! how do other people with kids do it? I don’t think Maddie was any more demanding than other brides- in fact- I think much less than, but just the regular stuff to do took up so much time. The decorating the day before, the running last minute errands, wedding rehearsal then dinner… more decorating the day of, getting ready, pictures, then the wedding itself. I didn’t get home from the reception last night until 1 am after going non-stop for over 18 hours!
Summit was the honorary ring bearer and had a little Kenneth Cole tuxedo. (pics to follow) Not much is cuter in this life. And he smiled in most of the pictures. He was a little whiny when he would see me- but he was justified after not seeing me for 2 days…
I could sleep for 24 hours straight. But the wedding was perfect. It was intimate and beautiful. Maddie and Zack really seemed to enjoy themselves! I couldn’t be any happier now, it’s over and they are happily married. Now I may go take a little nap!
