Summit’s tests (w/ Pics)

First of all we still don’t know anything, we will get the results back Monday afternoon. He did good, thanks so much for your prayers! The EKG test was done first, that is the first picture below. They put sticky pads on him and attached wires to record his heart. He was pretty happy during that test as you can see! They took his weight and height after that which he HATED.
The Echo test was the hardest, it lasted over an hour and he was screaming by the end of it. Basically it is an ultrasound on his heart and they took tons of pics. We thought we were done, then the doctors on the other end in Little Rock wanted more. Arg.
The chest x-ray was the saddest/funniest. It’s the last picture in this group. He was crammed in a clear tube, sitting on a small bicycle seat with his arms above his head. I took it from the back, it’s kind of hard to see. Sorry these pictures aren’t in order and that high of quality, I took them with my cell phone. Enjoy! Pray that the doctors don’t find anything, or if they do, that it isn’t a problem and he can grow out of it! Thanks!

What an emotional and physical ordeal! This post shows what amazing parents you are and how strong Summit is. The pictures are heart breaking and heart warming at the same time. Summit is blessed with access to wonderful medical care and such loving parents to comfort him.

The ultrasound part of the test looked like the ones I had done through the ANGELS network while I was pregnant. Telemedice is amazing and such a gas saver. Good thing he doesn’t have a hairy chest yet with all those EKG stickers.

I hope the test results are back soon with good news.

Poor little guy! Look at all those wires everywhere! I came to check on you guys because I got the prayer request from church. I’m praying for you.

I would just like to say that Deuce had one of those chest xrays with the torture tube and it was like ripping my heart out of my chest to listen to him cry. I’m so sorry, Heidi. I know that was hard.

    Hugs, Summit.

What a sweet, sweet boy! Isn’t it wonderful that you didn’t have to go to Little Rock to have these tests done! We’ll keep praying for good test results!
