Dressing For the Day

One of the ways God reveals himself to me is through the beauty all around me. I love people’s faces- the uniqueness about them that is the thumbprint of a creative savior.

Some days- it’s simply through an outfit I feel confident in and forget that I’m even wearing it. Which- to me- is the best sign of comfort.

Abby over at Dear Abby Leigh weekly does a link up where you can share in the fun. We aren’t fashionistas or experts, just love what we do.

I love her concept:

“Dress for the day you want to have… not the one that is trying to have you.”

So, today I dress for  the day. In my $1 garage sale find, belted with another garage sale find, with a matching clutch I got at a Goodwill store for $2 and (un-pictured) flats. It’s not about the money you spend, it’s about the confidence in which you carry yourself.

Happy Wednesday.

I love that quote- the day you want to have. Means so much more now that I work from home and get a little lazy with my clothing choices at times. Please tell me I’m not the only one. :)
