A Fine Dime: Date Night on a Dime

The first time I met Shannon from NWA Motherlode I was lugging a huge diaper bag, an infant carrier and a cranky baby. We locked eyes and I saw an instant connection. She smiled in a way that told me she’d been there, understood and handed me a card to her web page about MOMS. Last summer, I had the privilege to meet her again, along with her counterpart Gwen, and have enjoyed getting to know her better over the last few months. The thing I love about NWA Motherlode, (besides the amazing giveaways!), is that there is something for everyone, in every stage, and you can tell that they care about the integrity of their blog.

Check them out, comment on my post and be sure to check back for more (cheap) fashion advice!

Yeah… I’m a mess! :) My husband lost his job this spring and although he was fortunate enough to find another one, it pays much less. Shifting down a pay bracket or two was hard. But in the midst of all the challenges came a surprise- I found fashion in places I’d never looked and learned how to accessorize with nothing. I could go ON and ON but I decided for this post to talk about my top 5 Night Out Tips where you can reorganize that un-stylish closet, buy a few basics, up-cycle some things and learn to accessorize:
