Probiotic Goodness (Part 1)

If you have read anything I’ve ever written you know that living a healthy lifestyle is kinda important to me. I eat organically when I can afford and love vitamins. In the past I’ve taken probiotics for various reasons, most recently when I had a sinus infection and got on an antibiotic. I honestly don’ t know a lot about them, I just have always known they are good for you and your digestion. When I was selected to participate in a probiotic campaign I jumped on it. I love information and research, especially on the topic of heath.

This spring when Bear was sick, my doctor actually told me to give him  a yogurt with a probiotic to help his intestines recover. I really was happy that a Doctor was advocating a natural approach to health, even if the supplements I was buying from a local natural health food store were really expensive SO  I was pleased that Sam’s Club was now carrying a probiotic that is CHEAPER and easier for my lactose intolerant family to take…

Honestly, I’ve been taking if for a few days and haven’t seen a huge difference but part of that may be that I usually eat pretty healthy so I’m typically, you know, regular. :)  I decided to start taking it to see if I see a difference in my overall health so we will see. I’m looking forward to the next few weeks and seeing if I see a difference or not. I’m thinking that I’m going to put Ben on it and see if HE sees a difference as he doesn’t eat very well and tends to have some … er… problems. He’s going to kill me for that… BUT health is important and I want to be honest here! Check back in another few days for a follow up post!

Can’t wait to see how it all “comes out” for you! This stuff has been a life saver for me (no joke). I too am a healthy eater (vegetarian) and my diet actually hurts my IBS and this has helped to create such a balance! Keep me posted!

I did the same as you! My doctor recommended probiotics for my kiddos so I bought them some yogurt with probiotics. So I figured why don’t I give them a try too! LOL Can’t wait to see how they worked for you!
